Spotlight has been promoting performers to casting opportunities since 1927. It is the UK's most popular casting resource.

Membership is only open to performers who have received recognised professional training and / or have significant professional experience. This is why Spotlight is the most trusted and respected casting resource in the industry.

Our directory of stunt / action co-ordinators and performers is produced on behalf of the JISC (Joint Industry Stunt Committee).

The JISC is the only organisation approved to compile a definitive list of potential employees who are qualified to undertake work of a potentially dangerous or hazardous nature in films and television.

What does Spotlight membership give me?

Your full professional CV plus photos, voice-clips and showreel will appear on www.spotlight.com where they can be accessed by casting and production teams. Your casting details are fully searchable, so, for example, a casting professional can look for ‘an stunt artist, with a playing age of 35-40, who has dark brown hair and is skilled in motorbike work'.

Your three photos (head-shot, body-shot and action shot) and full CV will appear in the next book which is printed biannually in September and distributed to key industry professionals nationwide.

Spotlight card

Your Spotlight membership card will be sent to you after you join. It is a handy reminder of your PIN number and entitles you to discounts on products and services negotiated especially for Spotlight members.

How do I join?

You can join Spotlight at any time of the year. Your details will appear on our website as soon as possible, with your book page appearing in the next available edition.
