What is the Performance Calendar?

Our Performance Calendar enables drama, dance and stage schools to promote their students' future performances and showcases to the UK's leading agents and casting professionals.

As well as times and dates, the Calendar features venue details, maps, and a quick and easy online booking facility. It also give schools the ability to co-ordinate the dates of their performances with each other. All details are updated daily.

• The CDS Calendar is a centralized listing of all final year performances and showcases by drama students who are graduating from a CDS drama school or an NCDT accredited courses.
• The Stage School Calendar is a centralized listing of all performances given by child artists and young performers from the UK's leading stage schools and child agencies who appear in Spotlight Children and Young Performers Directory.
• The Dance School Calendar comprises showcases and performances from dance schools and colleges which are either accredited by the Council for Dance Education and training (CDET), Ofsted approved or eligible for DADA awards.

How does it work?

• Schools are given a unique password which enables them to log-in at any time and input details about forthcoming performances. They can add information including venue, date and time, synopsis, director, and, in the case of CDS graduates and dance graduates, Spotlight Internet CVs (including photographs) of the students who will be performing.
• Casting professionals and agents view the calendars on Spotlight website, and select the performances they wish to attend. If they are looking for a specific event, they can search by school, venue, production and time. A ticket booking service is also available.

If you are an Agent or Casting Professional:

For the latest listings, check the Performance Calendar on a regular basis. During the busy showcase season the Calendar will make it much easier to keep track of what is going on, and when!   
You can book tickets directly via the website or using the featured phone numbers.

If you are a Drama, Dance or Stage School Principal:

Make sure you update the Performance Calendar frequently, adding full details about showcases and performances, and the students appearing in them.
If you don't know your username or password, please call Spotlight on 020 7440 5025 to obtain them. Please note that this service is only available to CDS drama schools and those schools / agencies who submit clients into Spotlight Children and Young Performers Directory or Spotlight Dancers Directory.
