How To Enable Javascript
Which browser / computer are you using?

Internet Explorer 6 (Windows)

- Click on "Tools" on the main menu
- Click on "Internet Options"
- Click the "Security" tab
- The security level for the Internet zone should be set to "Medium". If not, click the "Default Level" button to restore the default settings.
- Click "OK" to accept the new settings.
You may see a few warning messages after doing this, such as the one below. These are nothing to worry about - you can safely switch them off.
Internet Explorer 5 (Mac)

- Click on "Explorer" on the main menu
- Click on "Preferences"
- Click the "Web Content" entry in the list of settings
- Make sure "Enable Scripting" and "Enable plug-ins" are both ticked
- Click "OK" to accept the new settings.
Safari (MacOS X)

- Click on "Safari" from the main menu
- Click on "Preferences"
- Click the "Security" icon to open the security settings page
- Make sure "Enable plug-ins" and "Enable Javascript" are ticked
Mozilla Firefox

- Click on "Tools" on the main menu
- Click on "Options"
- Click the "Web Features" entry in the list of settings
- Make sure "Enable Javascript" is ticked
- Click "OK" to accept the new settings.
Netscape 7 (Windows)

- Click on "Edit" on the main menu
- Click on "Preferences"
- Expand the "Advanced" heading (double-click, or click the little arrow next to it), and click "Scripts & Plug-ins"
- Make sure "Navigator" is ticked below the heading "Enable JavaScript for:"
- Make sure all the script options (Move or resize existing windows, etc.) are ticked.
Other Browsers
If you're using a browser not listed here, please check your browser's documentation. Keywords to look for are "enable Javascript" or "enable Scripting", and will
usually be found among the Security settings for a specific browser.
Some very old browsers may not support Javascript at all. If you find this is the case,
please upgrade to a more recent browser. You can find a list of recommended browsers
